Short hair or long hair.
Find your fit.
The difference starts with how your hair is prepared. Your surgeon will assess your donor area, coverage and goals before recommending an approach.

Short hair transplant
The donor area is shaved for treatment, but the hair on top can remain unshaved. Your surgeon will discuss the preparation that suits your treatment plan and preferences.

Long hair transplant
The donor area remains unshaved. This photo shows its appearance five days after treatment. During the first few days, a little blood may leave the donor hair feeling sticky.
Included in your procedure
- Pre-operative check-up
- Digital 3D before-and-after scan
- Four post-op cleanses and consultations
- Prescribed medication
- Take-home hair growth pack
- Video record of your procedure
Your graft count and treatment plan determine the final quote.

Graft planning, chilled storage and live time monitoring help the team manage each stage.
The Protocol limits surgical session time to reduce the time grafts spend outside the body.
A rotating team of three surgeons performs the transplant. Ask who will carry out each step of your procedure.
The Protocol describes ALMI Nanofat at 48 hours after surgery. Confirm suitability and what your treatment plan includes.

Ask about aftercare →Take your questions
seriously. We do.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you get in touch.
Ask your own question →How do I choose between a short hair and long hair transplant?
A personal clinical assessment is needed before either approach can be recommended. Discuss your goals, the proposed treatment plan, any trimming or shaving required, and the full quote before deciding.
Can international patients arrange an assessment before traveling?
This depends on the remote consultation options currently offered. Contacting the clinic directly is the fastest way to confirm what is possible for a specific situation.
Who is not a good candidate for a hair transplant?
Patients with insufficient donor density, certain autoimmune conditions affecting the scalp, or unrealistic expectations about outcomes may not be suitable candidates, or may need a different approach. I assess every patient individually before recommending any procedure. The diagnosis always comes before the treatment plan.
How long should I plan for recovery and travel?
This varies by person and by treatment plan, so it is best discussed directly during consultation, where guidance can be based on the actual procedure and travel timeline.
How should travel and follow-up be planned for out-of-town patients?
Ask the clinic directly how follow-up is handled once a patient returns home, since this process varies and deserves a clear answer before booking.
